With everything said above I agree. Upgrading to a 4 channel is your best bet, as I think they may have been underpowered. Now just make sure the 4 chann amp will support 2ohm loads on each channel unless you bridge them into 4 ohms

It is a task, for sure, but for me it's necessary. But I agree, the stock system does sound pretty decent, I was pretty impressed with how much bass it had. I think at the end of the day you have to decided how important it is to you and go from there. Let us know if you need any help with the installation
