Default Rear Defog

Hello All. 2001 Monte SS and the rear defogger stopped working. Looked inside fuse boxes, doesn't seem to have fuses. Any ideas. Inside the passenger fuse box is a breaker, which lies underneath the fuses, could it be that? I'd really like to do myself. I've replaced that small four prong amp in fuse area with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx!

Hi Janet,
Sometimes the electrical rear contacts are broken when cleaning
the back window in your Monte Carlo.
Look close at the little metal clip connector's, and see if
they are broken. If so they need to be soldered, & re-connected.
I hope that other MCF member's will notice your post, and
give their possible solution to your prob.
Good Luck to you. Make sure you come back to the MCF.

be very careful with soldiring on your glass. if it is to cold it will pop the window on you.
But there are some metal tapes for doing repairs on glass that might be a better choice. also easier to use with out burning anything
