well i have a 01 monte ss with the steering wheel buttons and onstar capabilites. i havent subscribed to onstar and i dont plan on doing so anyway. i have a basic aftermarket radio that i want to put in, its a pioneer deh 1300mp. i have the wire harness to the new radio to the car but i cant find a harness that fits the car harness to the radio. is there a site where i can get a simple harness that connects the two together or do i just have to do some splicing. either way could someone simply give me a link or something that will fit the wires in my stock car ny help would be apprciated thank you.

 

Check your trunk and see if you have an amplifier between the 6x9's - silver box. If you do get Metra's GMOS-04, if not get the GMOS-01. If you want to keep the steering wheel controls get Metra's ASWC - it will plug into either of the above harnesses. If you are not very electrically inclined I strongly advise professional installation.
