oh so u pulled the stock radio out b/c it didnt work...first thing i would do would b check the fuse and make sure the connections are good,next make sure ur gettin power to the radio itself, third if u didnt do it from b4 check to c that there is power to the amp and right after the amp...hopefully someone has some other ideas for ya

If your Pioneer deck has a built in amp, then bypass the factory amp totally, as they are about worthless anyway. Takes a little rewiring, but then it will be done right!

Im not a wiring pro, but my factory amp was removed, and an aftermarket amp put in. It will involve running new wiring from your deck to the speakers, but that should be about it, other than the door chime and steering wheel control modules. Hooking up speakers hasn't changed any in the almost 40 years I've been messing with cars.(My 1st system was in my '64 Impala SS back in '70). It's the other things that get complicated, like Onstar, the door chimes, and steering wheel control.

Does it have a Bose system in it? if it does, then locate the amp and you will see where the audio inputs and outputs are. remove them and jump them there. It shoud give you sound. You can also test it using a tone generater to hear what wires are pairs.

I wouldnt put it past GM to do it. My sister had an Aveo with a Bose system.

You wouldnt go anywhere fast, but you would enjoy every note from the radio. LOL
