Ok, I went to walmart and bought the chime thing you have to have when you put in an aftermarkt radio. I installed my pioneer cd player with the chime harness thing and it doesnt do anything....Could the amp in the trunk be bad???

 

r u sayin that the chimes dont work? or everything?

i could b that ur pioneer deck just doesnt work...or your wirin harness is messin it up, u did buy it at walmart...not the highest quality there

 

well i took the deck out of my blazer and it works fine, the wiring harness is a scoshe brand and as long as all the wires make a connection i dont see why it shouldnt work right, it is either the amp or radio, but there is no way to test them i guess.....

 

well to test the radio just plug it back into you blazer, and if its still workin i would put it back in and then see if ur gettin power to ur amp...if ur not then i would say that ur wiring harness is bad

Scouche is not the best brand out there. Metra by far is better. I would not but a scouche product in my car even if it was given to me. lol (no offenece)

I would go to one of your local shops and purchase another harness if there is no power to the deck it will no come on. If there is no power and it worked in another vehicle your harness is not working. That or the fuse is gone due to a short. Check the fuses.

 

ok, well there is a reason why the stock radio does not work, and i dont know where to begin?
