Hey guys,
I've been having a problem with the stock radio in my 2003 SS for several months now. I'm not what you'd call great with car audio or wiring, so I'm not sure what's going on. Basically, I'll be driving, and the radio will shut off by itself. Nothing will happen if I press any of the buttons on the radio. The only way to get it to turn on, is to stop the car and turn the ignition back on and off. However, when I do turn the ignition to off, the radio will start up again. I do have an iSimple Gateway hooked up, and thought that might be loose or something (Again, not too proficient with this stuff), but had a tech at Best Buy check it out, and was said it was hooked up fine.
So what could possibly be wrong, and what are my options to fix this?

My sons car radio kept cutting out and it was a loose battery terminal. It only affected the radio and it would come back on by itself. Just a thought.
