Radio Question
Hey guys, i just bought a 2006 monte carlo ss and the radio in it is not working so while i was at work my boss had a radio from a 2010 Tahoe that looked like it would fit in my car so i bought it and now i was wondering will it fit.
Plus a radio from a truck may not have the right 'code' to be accepted by the car's computers. Do you have OnStar or XM radio? Again, the truck radio may not pair up.
Mine has lost a channel (right front) along with the CD changer that never worked and I am looking for an aftermarket unit to replace the radio, iPod adaptor & bluetooth speaker that I have bolted on. One unit to handle it all is my goal.

Does it sound like it's loose somehow or blown?
Maybe try Mickey shores or whatever car audio might be near you to have it checked out...
I don't think Mickey Shores is a national store Dave. I think thats just in Mi
Oh well I tried....
Any car audio shop should be able to resolve it for you....
