ORIGINAL: mickey

that one of the best things i like about mine i can change everythign in it to make it sound how i like it and also still make it sound clean. Also if ya get lazy and want to hear it in a diffrent mode you can do it also witht he rock,po,country etc,,, settigs they have as pre sets, but it saves your setgs in memory for you so you dont lose them .

Im verry happy with it. If you get it let me know what you think. the cage kit im still waitng to hear from that man on it. But when i do i will see what happens .
It's not a matter of if, it's when. At this point, some more pressing things like coolant system flush and tires are taking priority. So it's looking like I should have everything I need by October to do the install.

Well, I ended up with a Pioneer afterall!! And it's even better than the one pictured in this thread. This is the one I got...............

Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS

And although I said $300 was my max for a head unit, at $340 this HU was impossible to pass up considering how clean it looks and all the features it's loaded with. I also got a flush mount install kit from humount.com, although it took nearly a month to arrive[:@] I wish I could tell you how nice it sounds and show you how nice it looks in the Monte, but I've been working 7 days a week for the last 2 months so I haven't had time to do the install. However, I'll be starting a new position next monday and will be back to a 5 day work week so I'll have time soon to get it done, but with trips to Reno and San Francisco coming on successive weekends it's still a few weeks away from getting done. But rest assured, I'll post pics and give a review of both items.
