Default No Sound After Stereo Install?

I just picked up an 05 MC SS. Since my dash bezel exploded into pieces while servicing my gauges, figure I might as well install a new stereo head unit and speakers. Did the wiring interface kit well enough that the head unit turns on. Connected it via Bluetooth to my phone. My issue is that there’s no sound coming through the speakers. If I turn the volume all the way up, I do hear something coming from the small mini speaker above the door 6.5 one. It’s super soft and quiet. That’s about it. What did I do wrong?

How was the sound before hand? Did the factory radio work? Also, there is a factory amp in the trunk. My other thought is the amp may not be turning on. ANd this is where I don't know if the factory amp activates differently from an aftermarket amp (probably not). My guess is that a connection needs made from the radio to activate the amp when the radio is on.

I plugged the factory head back in. Same thing, no sound unless volume is maxed out, and even then it’s very quiet. So my factory amp is either dead or not getting power then? Since with both head units it’s the same results.

Check the amp for a fuse.

I believe one of the fuse panels has a fuse for the amp. I agree with JTBell, check for a blown fuse. Next is pulling out the multi-meter and checking the power and ground pins for those connectors to the amp and make sure they are working.
