no running lights or gauge pannel lights

you would think the running lights or other interior lights would not be behind the deck. There is some circuitry that is tied from the radio to the headlight/dimmer switch which is connected to the power supplied for other illumination circuits and obviously the headlight circuitry.

turns out that the gray wire is only hot when the running lights are on and is a ground when they are off, and due to the vehicles innercomunication system I blew a few on the passenger side they had to test them some specail way toubleshooting it all only cost me 40 bucks im not mad.

And What did you do that caused that. Did you hook something up that that wire or..

I had nothing at that time going to it but i did have things going to it while i was trying to figure out all the wires

I just replaced my factory stereo two weeks ago and the same thing has happened to my Monte. Do you know what they had replaced? What fuses it was?

Hi All,
I have an issue with my security light coming on and that causes my car didn't start. The first time this happened, I had checked battery and complementary part for servicing purpose. The car ran fine for a few days, but now the light comes on again. PLEASE HELP!

Steve, what fixed mine was a master reset of the security system. Leave the car in the ON position for 9 minutes. Security light should be solid on and not flashing. Turn key off and then restart.
