I made it from a piece of "Elmer's Foamboard", a 36" x 48" piece I bought at Hobby Lobby for about $10. I got a similar size piece of cardboard project paper ($4) to cut and make a template and traced it to the foamboard. Using 3M #77 spray adhesive, I covered it with a piece of leftover speaker carpet that I had from a subwoofer box project. The carpet is charcoal gray from Parts Express.....it matches the gray Monte trunk carpet exactly. I bought $5 worth of 3/8" automotive panel push pins at Lowes, drilled the holes, and pushed in the pins. Very low budget project. I paid almost as much for the added "Team Monte Carlo" decal as for everything else combined.

Welcome to the site. Love the mat! Would you be willing to trace? I've been trying over 2 years and my templates never work. Pleeez I have a show in a month & I really want to show my art work off & cover that blah underside
