Need some help--Rear deck

Default Need some help--Rear deck

Whats the easiest/best way to get the rear deck out of my 03 to replace the 6x9's pictures would help if you can.

i had to basically remove everything from the back area to get to em. the factory speakers are bolted on from the top. so when you install the new ones, bolt them on from the bottom to make life easier next time.

its quite a PIA i had to remove the back part of my back seat. fold down ur back seats and unscrew the black frame piece then there are some big clips called "pine tree clips". i think there are 3 of them? maybe 4. take those out. then the deck should just pull right off all in one piece. careful if you have tinted windows not to scratch the film with any screw drivers or anything else of that nature. sorry i didnt take pictures when i did it. but the hardest part is getting those clips out. cause two on the sides are hard to get too. but after that its pretty easy.

I believe Tweyn15 has a video on youtube of how to do it.. im sure when he gets on here he can post up the link..

This is what i looked up when i did it. if you wanna take the molding off my the rear windows you just take the cloths hangers from step 2 completely out and the rest of it's just clips--pretty easy and makes it alot easier to work back there.--Good luck!!
