Is my factory amp the problem?

[quote=NovaSS369;407129]These amps have power wires that can short out, the amp could just be plain bad or it could be your radio. Try a bypass harness if you dont want to buy a new amp.
I need your help because i can tell you know your stuff when it comes to your car...I was wondering if you could help me with what wire i need to tap into to turn on my factory amp with a aftermarket headunit....It's a 2000 MC without bose. I need to tap into the wire at the connector for the factory headunit. Thanks for any help
