you're clarley running good gear, why do you desire so much power?

what kind of sound processing you running? my bass was a little meh, as far as power untill i threw an ms-8 on my system and with some 6x9 woofers cutting off above my sub in the rear deck, my bass is tight, accurate, and it thumps like a champ when it needs to. and i'm only pushing 1000 rms, MAYBE 700 rms with where my gains are set, i highly doubt you'll push all 4500 watts of what you're thinking about doing. but in reality, there is no need for it. i assume your sealed though, but 2000 watts with dual 13" subs sealed is MORE than enough power for a quality system. are you going for SPL?

 

if you still insist on getting a 2nd alt, i believe sombody over at DIYMA.com was selling a 300 amp alt not to long ago, and it even had some brackets that you might be able to jerry rig into your monte. i'd look into it. if not that one, i know there are 2 200+ amp alts up for sale right this moment that i know havn't sold up on there.

 

each jl 13 takes 1000wrms and my insides are running on the 3rd amp. in order to produce that much wattage i neede enough current adn 300 amp may be perfect and i will be close to 4500wrms when its all said and done.and it will prob be just personal system no db draggin but heavy basshead so i love the boom lol..been in car audio for 10 yrs just never ran such high power equiptment till few yrs back and since im doing it thsi big i wanna make sure i do it right lol.. yall are awesome guys for the quick responses and info .. thank u all very much ...if i figuer out how to post pics and vides maybe ill post them and db scores when completed.

 

idc much about the DB scores. but what kind of processing are you running? i got 100$ that says you'll be mroe than happy with the amount of bass you'll get with a bass reconstructor, persoanly if you want an EXCEPTIONAL system i highly recommend a ms-8, i am in LOVE with mine and its usch an easy install, and such an easy set up. it even EQ's its self. whitch i LOVE.

 

i have a Audio COntrol rca line booster i cant remember the actual name and the 6 channel crossover from them .. ive always had great results with Audio Control for yrs so i stuck with them.. had the epicenter from them in old car custom setup and it was very exceptional to teh system but prob not using it in this one..i have afert market panasonic dvd player for the dash and if i get any other processors it would be RF 3sixty.2. my one jl 13 now destroys the rf power 12s i used to have on same amp . so im sure it will be loud..the pro shop i goto does all teh pgh steelers and pens vehicles and they tell me i will be very clean adn loud lol. i really not worried botu db scores as well but just curious.

no way, the ms-8 walks days all over the 3sixty2, but they are coming out with a 3sixty3, look into that one, its comprible to the ms-8 from what i ehar, not out yet though.

The 3sixty.3 are insane.. But im sure they are going to be expensive..

To be honest I do not think you need 2 alternators to run the W7s. With 1 HO alternator I think you will be fine. With what I have now in mine, im running fine on stock alternator.

 

i have a 220 ho alt now and it will def not be enough to give teh current i need .already contacted rf and waiting on response of what size to get . imma buy the bigest one i can find lol....i found 350amp alt on mechman.com .once they redo site imma ask them a few more questions
