slightly pulling on the airbag while twisting/wiggling the flathead might help out a bit

Frank that looks great! My curved piece on my console I sueded mine also. I might suede my steering controls too. Looks really good!!!

how difficult is it to suede? I would like different color interior but the roof and rear deck have got me stuck hha

If you get soft enough suede its not that hard because you can stretch it. If you get the near solid stuff like I did, not so fun.

I don't like it around the switches or on the wheel, but those little accents on the center console look really amazing!

thanks man, i really would like to get my door bezels done like that too but the suede i have is pretty thick and would never lay down flat on the surface :p
im pretty happy with the little pieces i'll be doing so its all good

any close up shots of ur door bezels?
