Default Line converter

Anyone ever use line in converter's to install aftermarket amp? I bought a new 06 Monte Carlo LT and would like to keep the factory head unit but I would also like to install two amp's plus aftermarket speaker's and sub's. Just wondering if the line converter will suffice, for two amps, one amp will power the rear speakers for now and the other will go to the sub's.

I wouldn't chance running two amps off of one line converter you will get serious feed back through the speakers. You can run one for the sub amp though normally you wont get any feed back through your subs.
