I think it's the switch or wiring to it because the after market radio doesn't turn off when car is off and driver door is opened. But when you turn off car and passenger door opens, the radio turns off and lights come on. I read that the switch is in the latch itself. It isn't a "switch" as in a part that you put on. I read another thread where a previous owner put speakers in the door and unhooked it. Maybe I will get lucky and that's the issue!
