ipod compatability

They just emailed me back...nope not compatable, ide have to use the setup you were talking about..But my nephew hadda good idea, what about a flash drive!!!!May work ill giver a try...

Flash drives will work, thats what I am currently using on my Kenwood Excelon KDC-X794. The only problem is that if you have a lot of music on it it will take a long time to load. Personally I would just upgrade the deck you have.

the shuffle has 1 port, the reciever has usb and aux ports...
Couldn't you just buy a $5 cord that goes from 1/8 in. (i pod) to RCA (aux input) and set the headunit source to aux? That's what i did with my kenwood for a couple years and worked great. . . . didn't charge it, but sounded good. . .

I bought the 5.00 fm converter at the 5$ store works ok...cuts out alot..havnt tried the flash drive idea yet...wrking 12hr days...
