Default Ipod in 2004 ss supercharged

I'd like to directly hook my ipod up to the factory radio. The stock hu has a aux button, but I don't see a headphone jack anywhere. Is it hidden or are there RCA connections behind it? Our is it just a dead button?

i believe you can hook a cd changer up to that directly.

if you search around on here though, specifically in the A/V/electronics threads, there are a couple of posts about adapters you can buy that hook up to that, for the ipod. check out crutchfield.com too, they have everything.

don't buy it from them though, they're expensive

You need an iPod interface like the USA Spec PA11 GM that plugs into the back of the radio. That is the one I am going to get. You can find it on Amazon for around $110.

For my 04 I use the soundgate AUXGMV3 and it works great, its a simple install also. After looking around i think i paid around $50 or so. It was a tight squeeze but it fits behind the radio and all you see is the cable coming out from under the heater controls.
