install 6x9's right now, need wiring info asap

Default install 6x9's right now, need wiring info asap

i purchased some JL audio 6x9's at a boxing day sale for 50 bucks(good deal huh), though i didnt get the gm adapters for the plug in. soooo do i just cut off the exsisting plug in and splice it into the included wires that came with speakers, or do i need this plug in adapter

im waiting before i cut for an aswer

You CAN cut and splice the wires together but just go and get the adapters so you dont have to mess up the stock wiring.

You can use the adapters off the old speakers, and put them onto the new wiring for the new speakers. I did this yesterday and cut off the old wires from the old speakers(by the part connecting to the actual speaker) and then putting my own connectors that attach to the speaker. There now you have your own harness!

If you didn't understand something let me know and I will try to clarify it, and www.crutchfield.com included them free with mine, but they might sell them too
