hey there looking for some advise i wanna upgrade from gm garbage head unit to a new bluetooth touchscreen head unit what will i need for harnesses and how much of a job is it to get into the car and working

Onstar or not?

You'll need the wiring harness, antenna adapter and then the mounting kit.

Then it's just wiring and installing.

go to crutchfield.com They will supply the harnesses and mounting hardware when you buy the head unit. And their instructions are top notch. Just did the install in my 03 ss with onstar. It was easy with the supplied items.
