i picked up some grandpee headrests and there not the same color as my car seats just a shade enough to see though i want to dye them...please sme one help me dye these

 

I had a black leather jacket that was wore down and faded in the front and I used black shoe polish. It was a hard leather like a motorcycle jacket so i don't know if it would work on a headrest. You could do a test area and see if it holds up. I have also seen carpets dyed with rit clothing dye in a spray bottle with water but I don't know if it would work on leather. I think its a trial and error process.
