JC, I have light blue 6000k in my lows and they look stellar. I'm liking for something to match that color in my highs. I hear putting HIDs in the highs demands a relay because they're trigger a High Beam Our message.

Idk if I really want to disable my DRLs because I like having lights go on when I start the car up instead of Hano always having to use the switch and I like lights on during the day too.
You mean LED's? The problem with hids is they won't run on the lower drl setting. I too really enjoy automatic lights.

Yeah iv been looking into this for a little too. I'm gonna go with 12000k hid's (cause no one is getting pulled over for them) and leave my high's as-is. Beacuse we use our highs as drl's a conversion kit is a no-go unless you disable them. The problem with LED's is the same as the problem with HID's the light source is positioned differently, with HID's its feasable beacuse its a small difference and only serves to ocasionally **** off the drivers in the oposite lanes (also cool glowing fog effects!) LED's on the other hand are multiple source projectors so the apear visibly brighter than halogen bulbs but the lights is scattered so much that they are useless as head lights. So if you use highbeams a lot beacuse you live down a dirt road or such your kinda screwed. But if you feel the HID's are bright enough you can put LED's in for DRL's for a color match. Unfortunatly as in so many universal aftermarket things its look good or perform good. Rarely do they go hand in hand. This is what I know about the lighting system on this car thus far.

It was a Sylvania light, but like others have said its going to be hard to get that bluish tint from halogen bulbs. You couldn't run HID's in your high beams without disabling DRL's as it'll ruin the HID's since DRL's run at 50% power. The only year that you can successfully disable drl's with no issues is 2005 as far as I know. But 2005 uses the low beam for a drl anyway. I think BBEngineering had a solution, but he is since in active and his store is gone.

That's exactly how I feel. I might just disable the DRLs.

Im not sure but since everything is run on the bus system (recently learned that) there might be a way to make the Fog's the DRL's. Id have to look into how to do it but that could be a possible idea for you if you don't want to disable your automatic lights. Good luck Dub.

Hello... I am running the 8000k HID's with a beautiful light blue tint... Honestly, I don't see any use for my hi-beams... Might just go the LED route for colour match and Euroyellow for the fogs...

Fogs as DRLs would literally make me the happiest man on Earth. I really am considering deep yellow fogs like the ones Crusader SS is thinking bout.

That's why I want the Blue/White halogens. You can see from my pic above how they look compared to my fogs. It's a brighter and a cleaner white.

If you don't want to commit to a fog light color (like me!) These are what I'm getting

RGB fog lights (lets you blend them) led projectors.
