Default HID / CD player kind of a 2 parter

hey everybody I am new to MFC I have been needing some questions answered for a while but have found no one to answer them hopefully this will be the place. here is my first thing I have been wanting to do HID saw some people do it read alot about and to me it looks pretty simple but never on a monte carlo. I guess I should tell yall this as well I have a 03 Monte SS. to me it does look simple but in the back of my head there are some things to me that might conflict does anyone know if the daylight sensor might conflict with it in any way. I was readin HID's need a direct flow of power and with that or daytime running lights might mess with the HID's running properly ? and I was also thinkin about puttin in led's for my break lights but yet agian I read somewhere that there could be problems there as well. and as far as the cd player goes I have an older head unit but was worried about losing my ability to use my buttons on my steering wheel is there a way to still be able to use those even with a aftermarket head unit ?

Thanks everybody Mitch

first off welcome to the site.

the HID's there is no problem i have them on my car and they work fine. i only have the low beams right now so if i dont have the lights actual turned on the stock DRL are on. but they work fine.

The for the after market cd player you can get a wire harness for it. I think that they are pretty expensive though (not sure)

then for the taillights, I dont know hopefully somebody else can help you with that

the HIDs were real easy to install they went in with no problems at all and i got them from http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...&catid=101

here is a picture of where i mounted the ballast( the two boxes at the corners of the pic) i did have to drill two holes to mount them but they went in with no problem.
