Default heated seat not working

last time in drove my 04, i dont think the heated seat was working. i thought i remember reading it could be a tear in the soldering in the cushion from sliding in and out? any way to test this? I assume I could check if the heater is getting power?

Is the light coming on via the switch? more then likely, the wire is burnt in the seat. I just recently fixed mine it took me longer to read what needed to be done then to actually fix the seat. there is a sticky that explains how to fix it.

Hey I’m having the same problem. The light on the switch is working, but it’s not heating. It works on the passenger side too. What exactly do I need to do? Or where do I need to look to find instructions?
