Carpet dye is easy and works well. I did mine with a bottle of Rit dye (walmart, $2) and a spray bottle full of warm water. Just mix it to desired shade and spray away. Do it outside on a warm day and let it dry naturally. I did about 3 coats and the carpet went from gray to quite black. I like it. At first the black comes out purpleish, but it definitely dries black.
I'd never, ever spray paint carpet/headliner. Especially not when there's such a cheap way of doing it right.

Yes, orange is an option.
I didn't even think of a toothpick. lol Mines not perfect but I taped in and around the bowtie to achieve the effect.

It works on the headliner too?!?!?! AWESOME!!! Totally redoing my interior from like a tan to a black, gray, and silver for sure.

yup already scrubbed half of it off.... lesson learned i guess, already got the map lights out, was a pain in the ***, the next problem i got is that i got quoted 950 to re upholster the leather with new leather and the colors i wanted is that around a right price?

That sounds about right, but you have to remember that's almost 1/4 of the car's value.. may not be worth it unless you have great plans for the car
