i like them a lot better than those normal halogen bulbs, ended up having that auto store i mentioned do it, but i stayed there and watched it being worked on till it was finished

i drove home, popped my hood to show my dad the ballasts and stuff, only to see that the guy working on it left his wrench thing on my air box, if it woulda fell onto the fan or something while i was driving, i'd be FCKED!

i've decided to go with 8000k HID's, now.. everywhere on the net says that HID's are easy, plug n play applications

now the shop says that its a pain in the *** and that they have to crawl all thru the inside of the car and under the hood of the car

now is that true? the shop is known to lie A LOT, and they always screw people over so idk if its true or not and i'd really appreciate it someone could tell me the truth since there are some well rounded people on MCF

now another question, they carry TView HID kits and Xenonworks HID Kits, he says that xenonworks is the more "expensive" kit and that Tview is cheaper, but.. i couldnt find much on xenonworks but Tview has their own website and seem to have a lot of customers, so which is the better kit? i'd prefer not to order online so please dont suggest so

and last but not least, if anyone can email me or post a step by step installation detail i'll greatly appreciate it, my monte is an 05

lets see some answers
you got robbed!!! they probably got it off ebay and charged you lots of $$$$. all hid from ebay are the same. LMAO i can't believe you fall for it that they told you they have to crawl under the car to install it. they probably use double side tape to stick it on the front bumper enforcer bar. i bet they didn't even give you a seperate wire harness for it didn't they. how much they charged you anyway?

paintballerr78 9006 is what you need for driving, 9005 for hi beam, and 880 for foglight.
get 6000k cause the higher k you go the less light output you get.

all newer montes (06-07) take h11's for fogs and lows, highs take h9's. ive read that we can use a smaller bulb in the fogs to make them project like they already do with regular bulbs

for the 2003 I found your bulb size, Its model number is 9006 for regular lights on at night wich are your low beams, If you wanted to do fog lights the model number is 880.

I have the How to insalls on my cardomain page to get an idea and instructions of installing Hids, their similar to other montes.

Check it out
