1970 monte going to install new radio . took dash pad off. front two speaker need to be replaced. kick panels? or give some suggestion on front locationand back speaker only one what would be good .thanks

 

the way i did mine was to find a extra set of the plastic kick pannels then i cut them to fit a 6x9 speaker cover.
but you do not have enough room behind them for the actuall 6x9 speakers.

So i did componets there and the tweets were on top of the dash at the base of the piller.


The other thing you could do if your in to this type of thing is to make a set of speaker pods for the kick pannels and then you can angel them etc... with the 6x9 and a cover over them
paint them black or what ever color ya want and be done .
