Front seat airbag

Default Front seat airbag
Has anybody taken out the drivers side airbag and have had the seat back redone

I've heard of people having the airbag fall out (assuming you're talking about the one of the seat). I don't assume it would be too difficult for an upholstery shop to do it but it may cost a good chunk of money.

Why not pull the skin off of a seat without the airbag and then just swap the skins?
