Has anyone every done lighting under the hood around the engine? I'm thinking of doing this on the intimidator to really showcase the engine at shows. What do you all think

 

it is a good idea but it does get a little hot under the hood.
it is the reason why I am taking my time and looking for some good wires and some good spots where the bulbs will not be in the way of getting in the way of doing maintenance. it will take some time for me to plan out where good spots are and make some new grounds along the way as well

 

The only lights I have at this time under hood is on my rad hose..

I thought about putting some leds under my hood but I was just going to do them on the hood itself so it reflects on the engine.

 

Mine is totally lit under the hood. I will post a picture later today.
