Default Door ajar light stays on

This could be related to my other problem with my door not locking right, but my door ajar light is staying on the whole time. My doors are closed. I'll probably have to replace the locking mechanism.

Has anyone else had this problem before?

I have the same issue but have not had a chance to look at it yet.
Have you had any luck?
I suspect a sensor tied in to the door latch.

Did you flip the little sensor, switch thing on the side of the door? When we installed the remote start in my car the installer would flip the little toggle so that car would think the door was closed when it was wide open (keeping the interior lights off). If it's sticking it could be faking the car out - try moving it around to free it up.
