i always wondered the same thing. i wanted to get fitted mats like husky liners or weathertechs but never figured out if they were the same

sooooo...ummmm...yeaaaaaa soo whats difference between a 6 and a 6.5 generation? lololol
i had a 07 i always saw myself as a 7th gen the front looks like a impala and has no monte symbol the headlights tail/trunk lid spolier, wheels ,skirts, interrior engine... i mean heck if u look at cavaliers i had a 04 and completly different than ones before but from side if u take away front bumper and rear trunk spolier and bumper from outside its same car but ones who one them know its not same... got a 06, and ive seen monte before the 06/07 yrs and interrior completly different i think nicer but maybe cause its what i have so no offense to other model yrs... so to us 06/07 model yrs we call ourselves the 7th or 6.5 whatver... either way to argue over something this funny is lame guys lol where's the love... heck i wish i had same front grill as the yrs before the 06/07... so back to the point.. ive seen monte carlo rug mats but dont recall where to get them.. any ideas?

Since the unibody itself is the same for the '06-'07 as the '00-'05 I would think the floor mats would fit.

i've got the custom lloyd mats you're talking about in my 06 SS. They fit great, however i only put them out for shows so i can't tell ya if they're liable to move around alot or not. If you'd like pictures, i'll be out waxing her most of the afternoon so it wouldn't be hard to grab a couple pictures -- in fact i'll most likely have the camera out anyways. And fyi-- i've got fronts, backs, and the trunk mat so you'd be getting a look at all 3 pieces.

 

i just go to an auto part store and buy some Chevy mats and that was done for me, keeps my carpet clean, and all i have to do is pull them out, spray them down and they look new =]
