Daylight sensor

Do you have them in your High Beams. If you have Them in Lows or Fogs it has no effect.. Your highs run your daylight but at half power and that will ruin the HIDs in the highs

I have HID's in low and high beam. I already disabled the DRL. I have an 05 so the DRL is on the low beam. The reason why i want to disable auto lights is because when you turn the key "on" the lights come on and when you crank they shut off then come back on. I hear that thats bad for the ballast.

Hmm thats odd mine dont turn off between on and start. You might be able to adjust some of those setting through the factory radio, I know you can control how long they stay on after you turn off your car so there might be an option for that to. Look in your manuel.

I always use the parking brake in my '04, when its dark out my lights come on with the fob and then go off and on again when you turn the key, then off when the car starts till I release the parking brake and put it in gear when they turn on. They do nothing when its light out. I wouldn't mind finding a way to control the auto lights with a switch, like in the Chevy HD work trucks.
