Hmmm so the launch control is a rev limiter basically? And explain how the whole race fuel switch works, I'm confused. Do you have two PCMs and it switches between the two? As far as I know you can only have one file per PCM.

The MSD unit also provides the Rev Limiter ability for the launch control situation.
LOL, so much I don't know about things such as these because I did not build the car.
But hey thats not what I do for a living and already lost one engine on the 2nd build from a shop who claimed they knew what they were doing. Paul's who built the car do know what they are doing... I'm just a tile / stone contractor...

Oh ok, got it. Thanks for the clarification! That timing module is pretty handy then. Good deal. Seems like a legit setup you got there. I wish I had one of those for like a valet switch or something, just retard timing like 15* so they don't try anything stupid in the parking lot lol

To bad you dont live in Michigan...
I could use a good tile and stone guy right now...
The ceramic tiles they put in my kitchen sucks!... I am now able to roll down hill from my sink to the dineing room table!
I dont get it..the sheetrock was perfectly level...
Once the tile went down....I was shocked to discover what a chit job they did!
Now...Im stuck with it!
Didnt mean to hijack yor thread...
But your Monte is Something i'd definately like to have!

Hey it's all good Dave. Tile is an art for sure if one cares about what they are doing. A person upgrades to tile for the longevity of it for one and performance needs to be there for use comfort. I would tend to believe the kitchen floor substrate was flat but NOT level thus your now seeing things roll down hill as they follow the grade on the tile surface. If they had to actually level the floor you might have ended up perhaps and inch higher than the adjoining floor covering, carpet, wood, vinyl etc. Hopefully the install was proper in that they gave you structual integrity and a good bond. Now you always have to go up hill to fetch a pail of water.... LOl
