Default clifford 50.7x alarm install

hey guys,

looking to upgrade my alarm to something more 'modern'. found a sweet deal on a clifford 50.7x 2 way remote start alarm. anything special i would need for it? i heard about a passlock bypass, do i need that? anything else special so i dont have any problems.

Yea you are going to need a gm bypass kit to get thru the passlock thats on your car...And alittle advice don't get a cheap bypass cuz I learned the hard way when I had an autopage alarm with remote start put on my car, but I found the right one and everything works great

I used to install alarms all the time before all these bypasses became a thing. Anymore, I don't like to touch the ignition systems on cars. So the answer is no, I'm not a taker! Sorry man!
