Hey People....I have an Alpine amp. There is a pic of it with its attached wires below... Its the KTP-445 power pack. For those of you that dont know, its a small 45wpc booster amp made for alpine head units. I had this in my other car connected to a pioneer head unit, and it worked GREAT!...There are no preamp inputs or outputs, just wires corisponding to speakers and hot, ground and amp turn on...I was wondering if i could swap out the stock M/C amp for this amp. Just cutting the origional wire harness and connecting it into this amp...If anyone has any ideas, please let me know...Thanks in advance

of course you can, car has 4 speakers,(6 in some) a hot a ground and an ignition system of course it has all needed for this amp. the only thing i'd say to you is why? i doub the outputs on that micro amp are any larger than the stock monte amp.

Well,I'll tell you...the alpine amp is a true 45wpc rms...Thats good clean power....The stock factory amp is at best 15 wpc rms....Thats a big difference...Another reason is that i already have the amp. I guess after allis said,im looking for a way to get rid of the factory amp and go with a better quality amp.
