changing front speakers

changing front speakers
I want to change the front speakers in my 2004 LS to 2-way blaupunkts . But there are 4 wires coming in (2 tweeter, 2 woofer). Can I just cut the factory tweeter off and hook my new speakers to the old woofer wires?
