Are these "burned" CDs or store bought discs?
If they are store bought CDs, any problems in other CD players?

If they are burned CDs, do they play in CD players other then the Computer's CD/DVD rom?"
Common issues I've seen with burned CDs:
- When burning CDs was a new concept, some CD players were finicky to what brand blanks you used. But a '02 Monte should have a CD player outside of those issues. But could try different media.
- People want to burn MP3s to CDs and instead of making an "Audio CD" they make a Data CD with MP3 files on it (hence why it's important to know if this plays on something other then a computer).

Not sure if the '02 Monte can make the upgrade my '04 made. I swapped my stock CD player for the factory CD player from an '04 Cavalier. Had a friend program it with a GM Tech II scan tool and it's exactly like my factory deck BUT supports MP3s.
