Default Car phone mount?

No I am not going back into the 1980s, but I do need a mount for my cellular phone. I am using the HTC Touch Pro 2, but need it to an adjustable mount for future phones. I wouldn't mind one with FM modulation for when I use it in my company truck, but it isn't a must. I was checking ebay and there are a bunch of cheap ones figured I might buy a few and test them leave the best in my car and the rest in my company trucks. Main use will be to see the GPS screen, but music and charging are another reason. If anyone has seen one that sits in the "****ty" cup holder I woulnd be upset by that sticking straight up. It needs to be a solid stem because the phone is kind of heavy. Anyone have anything working? 2003 Monte Carlo

I have a blackberry, but these work good, and attach to your windshield so you can keep the phone eye level and where you want.
