Blew the license plate light fuse? *Urgent*
Hey everyone,
I got some new LED strips to replace my tag light with, after cutting the original connector and doing some temporary wiring to make sure I got the polarity correct, I loosely touched one of the leads to the one coming from the car, saw the leds light up and quickly pulled off the wire as I didn't realize the circuit was being powered and now they won't light up. So I took a meter to the leads and it's not getting any power. Thinking I blew the fuse I looked in the owners manual as well as some other resource books I have on Monte's but couldn't find anything.
Is that circuit not hooked up to a fuse, or..?
Need to figure this out before tomorrow so I'm not running around without a tag light :/
Thanks!

Have you checked the fuses in the underhood fuse panel that protect the left (LT Park) and right (RT Park) parking light circuits? The license plate light is usually wired to come on with the parking lights.

Awesome thanks!
Found the blown fuse (RT Park), replaced it and wired em up again. (With the battery disconnected this time..) I didn't think it was the park light fuse at first because the running lights where working and I didn't realize that the rear park lights where not the same as the rear running lights.
Posted some pics in the other thread I have related to this.
