Thanks Jason! We will see how she does Friday evening at the last Cruise-In of the year for the local car club up at the McDonald's!! It's from 5-9 so it will be dark enough to turn the interior lights on for a bit!! LOL I really need to re-do the passenger side window tint as it is half gone but the temperatures are not high enough to do it properly. Guess I will keep the passenger side window down so people can see in and it will also hide the window with only half the tint!!! LOL

How much work was it to clean and polish the areas where the badges were?? What did you use to make sure there was not evidence there were badges there previously? I am afraid once I remove them, you will be able to see that they were once there.

I wouldn't be the right person to ask for that. hahaha. I had my whole trunk repainted plus the one in the pic is not the original. I got hit last year and got this one repainted and never put the badges back on.

Hmmm yeah repainting would be the best scenario because the trunk and hood could both use it..but it is not in my budget to get that done yet

Fishing line and a lot of patience to remove, then elbow grease + goof-off to get the residual emblem tape off.

Then I compounded, polished, waxed the area and you can't tell.

OK, I will try that once I am done with the cruise in Friday.
Does it help to warm the area with a blow dryer or anything to help loosen things?

I did it during a warm sunny day, since the black paint absorbs so much heat haha
