Default Black out & LED swap projects

I have begun the process of blacking out the 02. Below is what I have done so far. Still trying to decide on blacking out the wheels with the silver ground effects or just painting the depressed areas of each spoke black?!?!?! Hmmm Still undecided so the black out project is only about 80 done if I decide to do the wheels.
The pics after that are pics of the swap to LEDS. I did the license plate light, trunk light, dome light, courtesy lights, and map lights.
Pics of what I have been doing
First pic is before any of this project started

Back of car before rubbing compound and wax on lights..not shiny and had satin finish

LED Swap Project I LOVE these LED's. Pics do not do this justice at all. Some of the best money I have ever spent and it was a very reasonably priced upgrade!!

Cool

I like the Bowties on the backup lights that is a kool look!! I have thought about the blackout thing but I would have a hassle with the Police no doubt. I imagine you need to get the LED's to make it work.

Your back up lights are sweet. I may have to steal that idea but I may have to do mine in red. Leds are always a nice touch and really brighten things up.

Thanks Zach.
I am very happy with how the back up lights turned out.
I love the look of the new blue LEDS but I may have to swap out the back up lights to blue also. Right now they are still white.

I would put the blue leds so it goes with the rest of the theme. Plus it will look cool with the chevy signs. With your wheels I would do the black in between the spokes. It made a huge difference with my wheels when I did that.

Wow Barbara that looks great I am also a fan of what you did to the back up lights. I've been pondering putting red led's in my interior but have been on the fence also not certain on what led's to buy and all that jazz, I will have to do some research

Yeah, that is what I was thinking with mine but also the depressed area in the spoke. See pic
Did you brush paint those or did you tape off and spray?
