Default Best aftermarket 6x9's?

Curious to which ones you guys have had the best success with?

I've been looking at onlinecarstereo.com

seems like for each review theres someone who loves it and on the other hand theres someone who hates em.

I'm curious too, one day I might blow my speakers and I want to know which brand would be best. I am keeping my system as stock as possible.

Yeah that's one of the last things I want to do, keep the stock head unit, but get better sound and maybe a sub or 2.

I had Pioneers, but switch to JL Audios when I upgraded everything. They obviously put out more sound.

IMHO, ANYTHING, Even WallyWorld speakers are better than what's in there. I felt the system was one of the worst on the market. That's why I replaced everything, twice.

Exactly. I hate the look of aftermarket ones in these cars. No offense to any one with an aftermarket one, but they just make it look cheap. Especially the blue ones in the 6th gens lol, nothing matches.

The ZR's are un-realistic in pricing. Not they are probably good, they are JL Audio, they ARE good. I got a pair of 12W6's in the trunk. The TR690-TXi are great speakers for replacements, as are the VR690-CXi speakers.
