Default bad amp?

I'm wondering if my amp has gone south. The right front speaker comes and goes. If you turn the balance and fade to that speaker only and crank the volume you can hear it a little. Sometimes it starts working but it doesn't stay. Wiggling the wires at the speaker and at the amp makes no difference. Also when that speaker is not working right the overall volume of the system is lower than when it's working. I have to turn the volume to about 3/4 to get where it would normally be a little below 1/2.

Mine does the same thing every so often and I've tried the same as you have. I'm thinking about just replacing the speaker.
