Audio Big 3 upgrade
Does that big ugly positive terminal have a free 1/0 hole? Its hard to tell what gage those holes are from the pic.
If it does, that one's easy- ring terminal on the alternator side, jam it in the free hole on the battery side. If not, at least you can replace that monstrosity, lol.
On the negative side, id go with an aftermarket terminal cap there too. Just get one with 2x 1/0, plus whatever you need for the stock wires (assuming you just delete the entire factory end and hook that wire straight to the distro terminal).

Tons of options. Seems most fall into 1 of 2 camps.
1. OEM knows best. Run it to the same locations they did, regardless how much wire that takes.
2. Minimum path of resistance - run the shortest amount of wire you can to secure it to a substantial part of the engine / attach a bolt to a substantial part of the body.
Of course there's all kinds of options in between. Personally, I like to go the aesthetic route as i really hate seeing piles of giant wires under the hood. Instead of the battery terminal distribution block, I ran a remote distribution block with a single large wire going to the terminal. Then from the distro block, I ran the ground underneath to the lower engine and to a solid chassis spot tucked out of view.
Sorry I can't help with exact locations on your car as mines in a 5th gen, so battery was on the totally opposite side.

Ultimate Positive Battery Terminal - Merchandise
The other thing is that IMO, its a safety hazard. I'm not a fan of positive terminals without a cap / cover on them - but being exposed + having this giant chunk of metal is that much more chance for something to fall on it and short out. Its very close to both the cross beam and the engine itself so it wouldn't take much to short it out.
