Okay i just hooked up my amp and subwoofer in my car and the amp works fine when the head unit is in tuner mode... but when i hit the source button to change my head unit to ipod or cd the amp kicks off for some reason... Anybody have any ideas?

 

I think you have your remote wire hooked up the your power antenna lead, which cuts power when the radio (tuner) is turned off. I bet that's your problem
