alternator wire

Default alternator wire

I got a alternator power wire and booster from ZZP. got the booster on but not sure how to put the wire on. can anyone explain it step by step?

I think he wants to know how to install the alternator power wire

IIRC, you simply connect one end of it to the bolt at the top of the alt where the existing wire is and connect the other end to the battery positive terminal.

Yeah, if you follow that link, look at what's labeled as the positive terminal. All you need to do is remove the nut from that and connect the wire there. Leave the stock wire connected as well. Then just run the other end to the positive battery terminal. Just make sure you keep the wire clear of the engine's belt system too.

I would do one of two things too, either try to loom the new wire into the factory loom so it's hidden and clear of the engine's belt system like Dbl said, or get a smaller loom for that wire only and zip tie it alongside the big fat loom on the top of the engine that runs towards the battery.
