aftermarket shifter

i didnt know whether to post this under engine/transmission or interior so i put it in here. i was wondering if there is any way to put an aftermarket shifter in a 1996 monte z34.

as in just the ****? theres not a whole lot for the automatic *****, some can be found on ebay

what about like shifters for rwd vehicles? would there be any way to adapt one to the shift linkage of my car?

Momo makes a good one and is about $90-$110 depending who U buy it from. I have it and it looks great. http://www.autoanything.com/shifters/74A3882A0A0.aspx but you can find it at a lower price. I got the silver one.

I think he's talking about a shift kit. Like most autos have to shift them manually. I think someone did a write up about it on here or mymonte, I don't remember which one though
