Aftermarket HU & Factory Amp

What other unit are you talking about? Are you talking about the radio or what? I mounted the sub amp remote down under the a/c controls. I may put it up in the pocket under the radio,i dont know. From what i know all montes from 2000-2008 were only autos. I really didnt want to do the install myself. I did the speakers and the sub. Besides,here in NJ now its just too hot to really do anything. My installer has a nice airconditioned shop and bay.

Well its been almost a week with my new aftermarket HU and I love the sound. Sooo much better than the stock HU...The installer did a great install,I even have the factory steering wheel controls hooked up!...Thank You all for all the help....OH,btw...if anyone in NJ need a great installer,check out Metro Auto Electronics in Kenilworth,NJ....Just ask for Shawn...

i was refering to the other chime unit you used as aposed to the one i reccomended. didn't know there were any others that maintained on star. perosnaly i'd keep the **** right there, thats where i plan to install mine, either there or in the glove box. i dont like that kind of stuff to be seen. i like to keep stock apperence
