okay, well i bought these fuse taps and got everything set up nice... made my own groung, tapped into the fuse, now my question is, is it okay to tap into the cruise/AC?? thats what i did and it seems to be working just fine, again its a 3 amp LED.....

 

It's not the fuse I would have picked personally, but I bet it'll be fine. I don't know what damage can come by pulling hot fuses for various systems, if any, so I would recomend only pulling the fuse when the key is off to be safe. If it's working fine thus far, I don't imagine things will change until maybe when you add significantly more LEDs.

 

I tapped off the acc wire from the stock amp...works perfect. And was easy!

 

Is it safe to run both the cigarette power units in the center console off the same power line? The one in the front stopped working and the rear one still works. The wiring for the front one looks very complicated to trace.
Any thoughts?
I just want to splice into the power line for the rear one and run both.
